The World Is Your Oyster

If you are unhappy somewhere get out of the situation. Nothing is worse then trading your happiness. I learned this the hard way.

I’m grateful I learned this lesson at a young age. At one of my jobs I realized I was truly unhappy. It slowly creeped up on me. Each week went by and I was complacent with what was going on. I knew I wasn’t happy but I tried to put it off to the side thought it was a “in the moment” type of situation. From one day to another I woke up and felt like staying in bed forever. I had no motivation, no energy, no drive for anything. I felt heavy like a huge extra weight was on me. I felt in my bones it was time to leave. There was no more denying it.

I am usually a very spirited person, full of life, light and energy and this wasn’t becoming the case anymore. I had to get out before it was too late. Ultimately you know yourself best and have to figure out what’s best for you. If you feel any sign of discomfort anywhere always ask questions. Always figure out where and what may be the source of your discomfort.

It’s so important that we spend time alone and figure out what it is we want for ourselves because before we know it we’ll have to make life altering decisions. We deserve only the best. We all deserve happiness.
